Medical Bills for the Garcia family

Donation protected
On October 23rd Kristen Garcia (age 3) was diagnosed with Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). It is a type of cancer in which the bone marrow makes too many immature lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell).
Kristen's parents, Annette and Sergio Garcia are remaining strong throughout the process but as one can imagine it's a huge challenge. Kristen has a twin brother, Lucas and an older brother, Joshua (8). This family lives in Lodi and are precious!

Kristen is currently at Sutter Memorial Hospital undergoing chemotherapy treatment. She now has a bacterial infection, collapsed lung, pneumonia, and little blisters covering her body.

Kristen and her twin Lucas were both diagnosed with Autism at 2 years old. They have been in therapy for a couple years, even prior to diagnosis. It's hard enough to explain to three years old that they are sick let alone one who struggles with communication in the first place.
In the midst of everything the determination she shows is amazing. Within this last year Kristen learned to use the potty. She now refuses to go in her pull-up and insists on going to the potty to pee. She gets her exhausted body out of bed to go on her own. She is a strong little girl.

First and foremost we believe God for complete healing in her entire body. She needs continual prayer so please keep praying!!! That is the best way to help!

Annette and Sergio have already been informed they currently owe the hospital $10,000 and that is just the beginning. This is going to be an ongoing battle for the next two years. A $10,000 goal might seem like a lot but every little bit can add up and help!

When I asked Annette if I could create this account she began to weep and replied, "Oh Sarah I don't even know what to say. Thank you so much. Now is not a time to be prideful. We need help, any help." And she just continued to cry.

This is an amazing family who needs support right now. Really anything you donate will help! Even $5 or $10 can make a difference if enough people would join together. Whatever you can donate is greatly appreciated!
She is normally a spunky little girl who loves to make silly faces! Please keep praying!
