Rebuilding a school in Tonga
Donation protected
On Monday, 12th Feb, Cyclone Gita caused catastrophic disaster in the Kingdom of Tonga.
One place that was hit hard was Acts Community School, a Prep to High school institute that has had a profound impact in the lives of hundreds of children from around Tonga.
A fairly new school, Acts Community School has worked hard for 8 years to build a school that places value on students, that gives them hope and a future. The school is producing amazing leaders for the Kingdom of Tonga.
On Monday night, within a few hours, the school lost resources, furniture, walls, windows and its roof. It is currently under water and the staff are working hard to salvage what they can. It’s a huge job.
We are sending a few Tradies with funds for materials to Tonga to help rebuild the school.
Here is our chance to restore what Cyclone Gita took away from these students and allow the great staff to get back to raising this next generation.
