Class Field Trip

Attention friends and family! As you all know I am a 5th grade teacher at a title one school in Charlotte North Carolina. This year our 5th graders were presented with a once in a lifetime opportunity to go to camp Thunder Bird for their end of the year field trip. To know this class is to love this class they are filled with spunk, perseverance, pride, and kind loving hearts. This would be the first time many of them have ever attended camp or an overnight event with their classmates. While we are there the students will participate in 4 daytime activities, 3 night activities, and 3 meals! These activities focus on team building and being cooperative which are important life skills for our 21st century learners! Of course with such a wonderful opportunity comes a cost. Many of my students can not afford the entire trip. I am asking for a donation, any amount would be more than appreciated! Thank you in advance for your support I am lucky enough to see their faces light up when I share the news but you should know it was you that made it all possible!
