Help Hayden The Hydro-warrior!!

Let me introduce you to our son, Hayden Jennings Witter. He was born with congenital hydrocephalys, which is an excess buildup of fluid in the ventricles of the brain. His case was severe! His head was swollen to nearly twice the normal size, and his eyes were nearly swollen shut. I touched him for five minutes through an opening in his transport incubator before they took him away. He had a shunt placed when he was a day old to begin the process of draining the excess fluid into his abdominal cavity, which is then absorbed by the body and processed out. His original prognosis was grim. It was predicted that he would never walk, talk, or experience emotions, and there was a good chance he would be deaf or blind. With the power of prayer and by the grace of God, his vision is perfect, and his hearing has improved from registering as completely deaf at birth to having only mild-moderate hearing loss now. We were recently introduced to Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI) therapy and were fortunate enough to attend one of their 4 day half conferences due to the generosity of a family friend who offered to sponsor Hayden. A full conference is typically 8 days. There were children from all over the world in attendance. After only 4 days of therapy we've noticed the following life changing results in Hayden: - his body is more relaxed and straighter as opposed to being perpetually scrunched as he tends to be - he's more talkative than normal and has begun making new/ different sounds in a multitude of pitches - he has improved head control and is able to turn his head further to the side when on his stomach - he has attempted to roll over in bed multiple times whereas, before the conference, his movement was limited - his eyes are tracking better and he is increasingly attentive during interactions with people - he has begun to deliberately reach for things, which he had not done before - he almost crawled with the assistance of a couple of therapists These seem like relatively normal activities for most babies, but for Hayden it has been amazing! To top it off, his head circumference decreased by 1cm in 4 DAYS whereas it has taken 4.5 months to go down 4cm. That’s approximately 1cm per month. The MNRI conferences are expensive! Unfortunately this type of therapy is not yet covered by insurance, but the results have been so encouraging, we know we must attend more of them. We ask for your help to do this!
