Sherri's Final Wishes/Expenses

Hi everyone, I'm Kelli, Sherri's sister and here is our story. Back in September of 2017, our lives changed forever. Sherri shared with the family that she found out she has cancer and that she wanted us to go to her Dr. appointment to learn more. At that time, she was diagnosed with stage II B lung cancer, at the age of 53 years old, we were all devastated.  After further scans it was determined that they couldn't remove the mass on her left lung because it was too close to her spine and heart.  Sherri was determined to keep fighting this. Chemo and radiation entered our lives. Her Dr. said she would have to get a very strong dose of chemo to fight this aggressively. So she did. Chemo once a week for six weeks and radiation daily for six weeks.  Sherri said she never felt better, she didn't even lose any hair. We all were happy and thought this was working. Through all that time, we learned that her body had rejected the chemo and the radiation only shrank her mass less than a centimeter, leaving us with little to no options. Her Dr. then suggested a new type of treatment called immunotherapy where the drug would attack the cancer cells in her body. She would be the first patient in this hospital under this Dr. to do this. Sherri has never stopped fighting. Three treatments in and they stopped it because it was not working, she was getting very sick. New scans were run and they saw that the cancer had spread to her kidneys. At the end of January, Sherri ended up in the hospital for twelve days with pnuemonia, it wasnt looking good. She was now told she was stage four cancer and she has about six months to live. There isn't anything they can do but to keep her comfortable at this point. Sherri is now under hospice care and living with my husband and I and our two chlldren. This has been a difficult journey and we are asking for some financial help for Sherri's final wishes and expenses. If you can help please do anything is appreciated no matter what.
