Vet expenses & treatments

On November 24th around 6 pm my 7 year old yorkie, who I had on a leash, was attacked by a loose dog from my apartment building complex, the owner did come up to me slightly concerned, gave me his number and stated he will take care of the expenses as per my dogs injury. I’ve made a police report and  have contacted the guy as to owning up to his responsibility and paying up my dogs medical bill and have gotten no response. He suffered 3 punctured wounds that was highly infected which the vet thought was an infection of 3 days, stated that the other dogs teeth could have been infected, had internal trauma and was filled with puss inside, had to under go surgery, got several stitches and medications as well as going every other day to get wound flushed. Never have I experienced such a tragic accident and this by far has been the worst. Any thing will help. It’s sad to see how a pet owner can be so careless for another ones pet who’s life is at risk due to their owns irresponsible actions. Any thing will be appreciated!
