Arleigh's coming home!

Update: We haven't been able to go home. We've had 3 discharge dates, and everytime it gets close, we have a set back. We are now 5 months in, and going strong, doing what it takes to keep her healthy. Thank you all for being so gracious and giving. We've been fortunate to stay by her side for the most part♥

After three heart surgeries, an arrest, a tracheostomy, ventilator dependant, little Arleigh has only 2 and a half weeks left in the hospital! Arleigh was born July 21st, and has spent her whole life there. Mom has virtually been living at the hospital with her, even big brother was enrolled in school close to the hospital she is at. Having been here 18 plus weeks already things have gotten tight, and little Arleigh still needs a number of things for her home care and travel. Her tentative discharge date has been pushed back in December, to make absolutely sure Arleigh is solid enough to come home. The discharge nurse and home respiratory therapist felt like our home didn't have adequate space for Arleigh and her equipment, and nursing. So on top of bringing her home, we are desperately trying to get a bigger home. Our expenses have just gone through the roof, and the financial burden is weighing heavier than ever.
