Avery's Fundraiser

Only a few short weeks into the school year, the Sheplers were confronted with every parents worst fear...a phone call informing them that their child was hurt and on her way to the hospital.   They soon learned that Avery was in a tragic accident while walking home from school.  She suffered several severe traumas which eventually resulted in her transfer from Good Samaritan to Lutheran General in Park Ridge. 

After undergoing a long but successful surgery, Avery quickly progressed for the better.  Although she is an amazingly strong girl with a determination to live, she is still faced with a long road of recovery and rehabilitation ahead of her.  

The hospital and rehabilitation bills will quickly begin adding up. We are asking our community to pull together to help alleviate some of these bills so they can continue to focus on Avery's rehabilitation.
