Fighting Together for Jaime

Life can sometimes give us trials we are not ready for. My amazing, strong faith, loving, husband’s life has quickly changed with a diagnosis we thought we left behind 6 years ago. Jaime has recently been diagnosed with gastric cancer and the cancer has now spread to his lymph nodes.
The news has been hard to process. Six years ago my husband beat cancer. However, a total gastrectomy was required. In January , Jaime went into the ER, only to find out cancer has struck again. Unfortunately, this cancer recurrence is inoperable at this moment.
Jaime’s faith is as big as a mustard seed, and knows that nothing is impossible for God. We know the mind is a powerful tool and having a positive outlook is a tremendous component to the healing process. The last thing I want is my husband to worry about being able to afford medical treatment without medical insurance.
My husband is a humble, hardworking man. My husband has love and support from our children, grandchildren, family and friends, and we want to continue to fill each day with love and positivity. Jaime continues to maintain a great sense of humor, and spreads joy to those around him. If you have ever met Jaime, you know his heart is full of nothing but love to give. We are lucky to have him and love him.
As hard as this is for me, I am wanting to reach out to everyone who can offer a lending hand to help. Jaime is currently undergoing palliative care which consists of chemotherapy every other week with radiation pending. We understand it won’t be easy without medical insurance and treatment is quite expensive. We are needing monetary help. No matter how small or how big your contributions are, please know they will go a long way and we will forever be grateful. If at this time you are unable to contribute, we ask that you share our story and help us raise money to continue treatment, but also we ask you keep Jaime in your prayers. We believe our Jesus Savior has healing hands and we believe in the power of prayer.
