David was diagnosed in October 2013 with stage four bladder cancer. Since that date, he has undergone a radical cystoprostatectomy, which involved a complete bladder and prostate removal and lymphadenectomy. These necessary procedures have left him with a urostomy which involves lifelong supplies and care. He is currently undergoing 12 weeks of extensive chemotherapy, and a prognosis is undetermined at this time. This critical event has exasperated the medical, financial strains which started for David in 2009. All monetary funds and donations will be used towards his medical supplies and treatments.
