Help Support 520 Teen Worship Night

We are coordinating a worship night for teens in our community called 520 and we are asking for you to be part of it! The rental cost for the Cal High Theater is $860 and we think this would be the perfect venue for our event. Even a small donation will help us reach our goal!
What is 520?
A teen night of worship and stories for drug/alcohol awareness.
Why 520?
We have a burden (and sadness) about the prevalence of drug and alcohol use with teens in our community. We are hosting this event to encourage the kids to be drug & alcohol free with God's help.
Who is invited & when is it?
All teens, from any church or no church, are welcome and the event will be held in the Cal High Theatre on Sunday, May 20, from 7-8:30pm. Please encourage your teen to bring a friend (or their youth group)!
What will the night entail?
The event will be a time of worship music and drug awareness through speakers sharing their stories.
The goals of this gathering are to:
1) let the kids know this is an issue we can talk openly about, 2) tell them God wants to help, 3) create a space and opportunity for them to invite God into this battle with them.
Why is it called 520?
Mark 5:20 is a story of Jesus setting a man free from a struggle. We believe God wants to help us with our struggles and our teens can be empowered to make good choices with God's help. We would like to call the event 520 and hold it on Sunday, 5/20.
Who is involved?
We (Cheri & Danny Calcagno) are coordinating this community event. We have an amazing emcee & worship team lined up, as well as local speakers who will share their stories of heartbreaks and triumphs concerning drugs.
Thank you for taking the time to support 520 with prayer, a donation, and spreading the word!
We believe that since God has asked us to do this, He will provide what we need to make this a special night.

* Update: We are overwhelmed and beyond thankful that our campaign has already been funded in less than 1 day!
God is so faithful and we appreciate your encouragement & support of our event. We are very touched by the generosity of those who gave.
Any more donations received at this point will be used for 520 bracelets, marketing, possible speaker gifts, and event related costs.
Please continue to spread the word to any teens you know if our community to save the date Sunday, 5/20 (7-8:30pm) to come worship at Cal High Theater. All teens are welcome.
We appreciate your continued prayer for this event - specifically that teens will come and feel the power of God to help them enjoy life drug/alcohol free.
