Dear Friends and Family,
As most of you know, this has been an extremely difficult time for Gabrielle and Martin, as their spunky two-year-old, Silas just underwent neurosurgery. Thankfully, he made it through the surgery without any complications (he is a super-hero, you know!).
Thank you for the prayers, encouragement and love you have shown their family. This out-pouring of love has held them up when their world seemed to spin our of control.
It was just last Friday that Silas was diagnosed with Chiari (kee-ar-ee) Malformation...Saturday, he was transferred to Detroit Children's Hospital...Tuesday, he had surgery... throughout this ordeal, Silas had his mommy and daddy by his side.
Of course, as with most crises, this situation has presented an overwhelming financial burden for Gabrielle and Martin, with medical bills and missed work. Gabrielle will continue to take care of Silas when he returns home, which means she may not be able to go back to work for several weeks.
Please consider helping Silas' family by donating here or by contacting Theresa Schantz via facebook.
Thank you for your support!
