Greetings Extended Family of Friends,
We, Iris and I are reaching out to ask for your support for our Big Sister Shalanda Bouler. If you aren’t aware our Sister’s home was destroyed in a fire January 1, 2018(https://www.google.com/amp/wgntv.com/2018/01/02/frozen-hydrants-cause-problems-during-extra-alarm-fire-in-harvey/amp/). The weather conditions made putting the fire out almost impossible which meant she lost her most intimate and invaluable belongings. The blessing is that no one was at home at the time of the 3 alarm fire and the fireman that was injured is on his way to healing.
So why are we reaching out to you for support?! If you know Shalanda well you know she has insurance coverage but of course the process of restoration is going to take time and will not completely restore her to the lifestyle she has worked so hard to make for herself, her family and her extended family of friends. Shalanda has gifted each of us in some way if you’re a part of her life and she doesn’t ask for anything in return. We also know she will not ask for support even in times like these. What are we asking? We’re asking that each of you give $50 each to support Shalanda through this transition.
