501(c)(3) to start an animal rescue in Buffalo,NY!

Hello everyone, if you know me then you know that the past year I've dedicated almost all my time into saving Guinea pigs and other small animals. At first I was running the rescue out of my apartment until a bigger organization recognized me and we merged our rescues. After joining by them side by side for a little over 5 months, we decided we did not like the way they ran their recuse and opted out. Now I would like to start to try on my own again to become my own Rescue. But in order for me to do that, I must first get my 501c3. The state filing fee is gonna cost around $100 dollars. The federal filing fee is gonna cost anywhere from $200-$300 dollars. With your help, we can start saving animals the legal way!
