50 years of 'Doing our Best' - help us raise 10K!

IT’S OUR 50TH BIRTHDAY IN 2020 – AND WE NEED YOUR HELP TO RAISE £10K!

Our vibrant Northamptonshire Scouting group is celebrating its 50th anniversary in May 2020 – and we’d like to mark the occasion with a special birthday trip for our group and vital new equipment.

But as a group run purely by volunteers – we can’t do this alone! 

We would like to take 70 children on an adventure to the home of scouting on Brownsea Island, where they can find out more about the heritage of this fantastic organisation developed by Baden-Powell – and, of course, enjoy lots of learning and laughter along the way. 

We also want to create a commemorative necker for our birthday event, so the children can carry these memories forward – and raise funds for minibus travel.

Of course, it’s also crucial that we are able to continue to offer places for the growing number of Northamptonshire children who want to be part of the Scouting movement.
