50 Friends 2018

The fifth annual "50 Friends" Yoga Event is looking for your support. 50 volunteers will come together the morning of July 14th at The Crow's Nest on Daniel Island, with the intent of raising much-needed funds for the Friends of the Charleston Center. These funds go toward aiding The Charleston Center's mission of helping Charleston County residents live productive lives, free from the impact of alcohol, other drugs, and addictive behaviors. Charleston Center is funded primarily through funds generated by its numerous programs and grants. Friends of the Charleston Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 entity that exists for the sole purpose of aiding the Charleston Center in it's mission.
Our 50 volunteers have committed to raising at least $100 each toward our $10,000 goal this year. We also invite Charleston's yoga and recovery community to join us in supporting these volunteers by taking part in the class at a suggested donation of $10. Three of Charleston's best Yoga for 12-Step Recovery Leaders dedicated to supporting the recovery community will be leading the class. A free bountiful healthy buffet will follow the class and amazing prizes will be given to those who raise the most funds.
