5 times too many , let’s help make a change

Tax deductible

November 2017 me and John started our journey to becoming parents. Soon after trying we found out we was pregnant on Valentine’s Day 2018 . We was so excited and couldn’t wait to spread our happy news . Sadly we experienced our first loss 7 short weeks after finding out .For them 7 weeks we had been so happy , so excited , we was going to be parents ! We wasn’t prepared for the heartache we got instead  , we wasn’t aware this could happen. We was so naive to believe you just got pregnant had a baby and that was that. But Sadly we now know this actually happens to 1 in 4 pregnancies. 5 months later we was excited to find out we was pregnant again. But yet again this ended in loss . Then another 5 months went by and we got pregnant again . Now we was aware that miscarriage happens and is very common we took one step at a time not getting too excited but still daring to dream . But yet again our dreams were shattered when we experienced our 3rd loss . Just couldn’t believe we had been through this so many times and was now classed as recurring miscarriage. This affects 1 in 100 women . And here we were the unlucky 1 . We had tests for recurring miscarriage on the nhs these are very basic and all came back normal, so we had know answers to why this was happening to us . Our 4th pregnancy we was so scared ,I tried progesterone 200mg twice a day . It didn’t help and we then experienced our 4th loss . On Pregnancy number 5 I was recommended to take progesterone again but 400mg twice a day . We prayed this was the magic treatment we needed to help keep and develop a healthy baby but sadly April 2021 we experienced our 5th loss .

Iv decided to arrange a skydive to raise awareness for recurring miscarriage. Miscarriage is getting spoken about more and more now and this is amazing but sadly there is hardly any research that goes into finding out why they happen . Tommys dedicate there time to finding out and they refuse to accept that miscarriage is ‘just one of them things’. Which is the famous line told to anyone who experiences one .

Please help me raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity . There are 5 of us taking part in the skydive . Me ,my dad 2 of my friends Amy and Millie and my uncle Rob . We are paying for the skydive 100% ourselves so therefore any profit raised will go straight to the charity and help make a difference. The skydive is due to take place on Thursday 17th June 2021.
