#Jus Check Em 31 mile ultra marathon for Jussie

As a royal marine commando, I am used to powering on when the odds aren’t in our favour, however following the heart-breaking situation my sister Justine Jianikos is now in after a misdiagnosis which has resulted in high-grade stage 4 incurable cancer that has spread to Her spine and lungs, I am compelled to push myself to my absolute physical limit and have committed to running 5 x marathons in 5 days, starting on 14th April 2021 and will be joined by my good friend, Rhys Richards (ex-royal marine commando and current fireman).
Justine is currently going through FECC at Velindre cancer center Cardiff and I am running these marathons to raise funds that will be used for alternative treatments to prolong her current life expectancy once her round of chemotherapy finishes, so she can enjoy as many treasured memories with our family for as long as possible, and all contributions are greatly appreciated.
Please share this with your friendship groups, colleagues, relatives and anyone else who wants to get involved to help raise the much-needed money and awareness to give Justine the best chance of extending what precious time she has left with her children and fiancé.

As Saturday 9th April 2022 creeps ever closer it’s time to share our plans to celebrate Jussie’s life whilst raising awareness for all types of cancer and the devastating affect it can have when not treated early.
Following our 5 marathons in 5 days last April, and the incredible support from everyone it seemed only right that we continue Jussie’s legacy, and, after discussing with the #Jus Do It team we agreed that we would complete an additional four runs, this year, starting 6th April, with each distance representing the age of Jussie & Andrew’s girls that have lost their mum/wife, and the final being a 31 mile ultra marathon with the distance representing the age of Jus when she passed on the 18th December 2021.
We are eternally grateful for your continued support and generosity, and should you wish to make a donation or sponsor this challenge, all monies raised will be donated to the charities that support families that lose loved ones to cancer.
