In loving memory of Cameron Sanders

Cameron Sanders was a bright young man with a promising life ahead of him. On Saturday, May 13th, Cameron's life was tragically cut short in the Des Plaines River. The incident that lead to Cameron's passing is still under investigation.
Cameron's family is devastated by this tragic loss, which was compounded by the fact that Cameron could not be located for 5 days during efforts to recover his body.
Throughout those 5 excruciating days, the surrounding community stepped up to aide Cameron's family, Rob Larson, and the Cook County Sheriff's office in the search. On Thursday May 18th, Cameron was finally located and now begins the process to properly lay him to rest.
Just as the community stepped up to assist Cameron's family in search efforts, we are asking that the community continues to step up as Cameron's loving family continues to need support.
Cameron's family truly appreciates all the love and compassion that has been shown throughout this tragic ordeal. As a community let's continue to display what love and compassion for our neighbors truly looks like.
