Future Medical Leader

I was recently nominated for academic recognition representing my high school and the state of Oregon at the Congress of Future Medical Leaders. This is an opportunity to meet Nobel Peace Prize winners, scientists, medical pioneers, and compete to win one of the scholarships.
A little about me: I am a honor student (sophomore) at Oregon City High School. I am an artist, a writer, and lover of music. I am aspiring to be a medical scientist with a side interest in horticulture and nutrition. Pathology is my primary interest. I have self-discipline, drive, and determination. I will work for and earn my life experiences.
About the Congress of Future Medical Leaders: An event next
February in Washington DC bringing together top high school students in the
country who aspire to serve humanity as medical scientists. Inspiring these
young people will be Nobel laureates, medical school Deans, winners of the
President's Medal of Science and internationally acclaimed medical leaders.
Students attending will receive ongoing mentorship giving them the confidence,
tools, direction and capabilities to achieve their dreams.
