Help Gustavo beat Cancer!

On 11/24 after many tests and a long visit at the ER, Gustavo was diagnosed with cancer. A week later he underwent surgery to get the tumor removed.

The last 6 weeks of his recovery went well. In the last month we have spent time seeing different specialists, doing repeat blood work, getting CT scans and MRIs to ensure the cancer hadn’t spread anywhere else in his body. After weeks of waiting..Good news is, the cancer didn’t penetrate the wall of the localized area and the CT scan results were all normal with no enlarged lymph nodes found. His brain MRI was negative as well.

The first step to Gustavos recovery is beginning chemotherapy treatment. Reluctantly, he is unable to continue working as he will need to focus on making his appointments and giving his body the time it needs to heal after each treatment.

Those who know Gustavo will tell you he is one of the most strongest, bravest, healthiest, positive and beautiful souls! There is no doubt in my mind that we will be able to fight this and come out of this stronger than ever!
