My Fair Maiden

I would like to tell you about my Amber: sweet pea, pumpkin, precious, and most recently fair maiden.The doctor at City of Hope gave her that one and it is so perfect for her. Amber is 25 years old. She has been married to Armando for a bit over a year. She has my goof ball precious grandson Preston who is 2 1/2. She has a sweet little girl ready to come meet us soon. Her name might be Scarlett Grace.❤️ A couple of weeks ago Amber was diagnosed with breast cancer. The doctor says rare and aggressive. Very scary to hear. Lives were literally turned upside down in the blink of an eye. I never knew too much about breast cancer but am learning way more than I wanted way faster than I would ever care to. So here it is in a nutshell: her cancer is estrogen negative. Progesterone negative. Her2 positive. It is also already in one lymph node that we know of. It is currently be called stage 2B. This, her age, and the pregnancy are all things that cause it to be aggressive and rare. She will be having a right mastectomy, removal of lymph nodes, and possible start of reconstruction on Friday Jan. 12th at 1230. At Huntington Memorial in Pasadena. She will recover from this surgery for 2-4 weeks and then deliver the baby. She will recover after the baby for 1-2 weeks then move quickly to at least six months of chemo followed by radiation. They say her total recovery may be 1 to 1 1/2 years. Her husband and myself are both hoping to be able to get time off work to take care of her and the two babies. I want to be there for my baby girl as much as humanly possible.❤️ Thank goodness they have good health insurance but there will be enormous bills waiting at the end of this. We are not going to worry about that for now. Just Amber and getting her through this safely and quickly. We have tremendous faith and trust in God and all He will do. We are very blessed by so very many praying. Our ultimate prayer is for a miraculous healing but if this is not Gods plan right now then prayer for comfort, safety, healing, faith, trust, strength, provision, drawing of hearts closer to to God and His perfect plan. I have loved myFair Maiden so intensely since the moment I laid eyes on her and will be close by her side now and forever. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Isaiah 40:31 but those that hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not grow faint. I love you sweet pea! You got this! Love, mom.❤️
