Baker Is In A Bind

So for those of you that don’t know Stephen Baker and his current situation I will give you the run down. A day after New Years he woke with excruciating pain in his lower back to the point he could barely walk. Now we are talking about a man who is tough as nails and to see our dear friend in this way was heartbreaking. His good friend Chad took him straight to the emergency ward and after 29 hours of pain meds they still couldn’t get him settled to have an MRI. He was then moved to the Royal Adelaide hospital where they were able to get his pain under enough control to do the scan. Test came back with Staphylococcus orious (severe blood infection) imbedded in his lower spine. Causing debilitating pain and minor immobility. (Staph Infections) Staphylococcus aureus is the most dangerous of all of the many common staphylococcal bacteria. The treatment is a 6 week could of intravenous antibiotics which requires he stay in the hospital for this period. Obviously he cannot work during this time and this is where you all come in. The cost of his rent and other expenses need to be covered for the time he is in hospital as he will surely loose his house if not. If you can pledge even as little as $5-10 this will help us to make sure he has a home to return to. This is a hard way to start 2018 and we really appreciate any contribution you can spare.
