Victim Of Shooting - Savat Dilmurad

My name is Nadia. Two and half Month ago my husband and I decided to have a date night on our only day off from work by leaving our beautiful seven-month-old daughter and five-year-old son with the Baby sitter at home. When we came home afer dinner we heard some people were arguing in parking lot, but we didn’t pay too much attention. When I noticed babysitter's car was parked much closer to the house than ours, I thought it would be much convinient for us to load the babies into the car next morning if we took her car spot. I asked my husband to go inside first to relieve the babysitter. While babysitter and I were working on switching the parking spots, suddenly we heard few rounds of gun shots. We stayed in the car to take cover and then heard few more shots were fired. Before we heard anything else babysitter and I ran to home in desperate, only to find out my husband crouching on the floor whispering "I’m shot !" We didn’t believe him until I saw the blood on his clothes. How could this happen? He was home!? Later I found out that after he heard the gun shots he rushed to the door to make sure if we were ok and with all the bad luck a stray bullet came towards his way. I felt tremendouly guilty. Had I not wanted to switch that car spot, all of this wouldn’t have happened. That single stray bullet managed to injure his LIVER, STOMACH, GALLBLADDER, DUODENUM and PANCREAS and then stuck in his muscles. Doctors said the bullet can't be removed from his body because of bigger risks. For two and half month, my husband went through many surgeries and hasn’t been able to eat or drink. He relies on feeding tube and has to undergo another big surgery soon in middle of January. The responsible and caring father who is a hero in his kid's heart and the man who we rely on has became very frail. Our life has changed drastically. He did not deserve this, it has been two and half months since then and he is still in hospital fighting to get back on his feet. Staying with him everyday at the hospital and taking care of the two kids, I can't work much. I wasn't planning to seek help online from friends and aquintencies, but now i have to because with very little income our financial situation has gotten worse day by day. Therefore I’m cordly asking you to help me out. My goal is $20,000. If we reach our goal and in case we will not use them all we will donate the rest back to the people who have greater needs.Thanks for your help in advance!
