Rigo Galdamez Funeral Fund

Donation protected
The man in the picture is my dad, Rigoberto Galdamez. He passed away on December 31,2017. He had been in and out of the hospital for the past 4 years and his health conditioned worsened to the point where he was not very mobile the last year of his life. He was getting dialysis and there was a number of other complications that occurred. On December 26th, he was not doing so well and he was taken to the ER. His ammonia levels were very high and he went into a coma. From that moment, things escalated pretty quickly. He was put on a respirator and number of other medications for his blood pressure, heart rate, ammonia, pain, etc. Ultimately, all the medications ended up giving him a heart attack and he passed away at 10:20 am on January 31,2017. We, as a family, we’re not expecting this. He had battled so long and seemed to be stabilizing, that this hit us like a ton of bricks. Our dad is no longer with us and that is a hard reality to face. One of the words I would use to describe my dad is generous. He gave and gave and gave to so many people. Whether it be money, a meal, clothes, a prayer, helping with funeral costs, whatever was in his power, he gave to people. He may have passed away without a dime to his name, but he was happy knowing he had helped people. My family and I never prepared for this possibility and do not have the funds to give him the funeral he deserves. We are reaching out to the community and those who knew him and inviting you to pray and ask God how much you can give towards his funeral fund. We are humbly saying that we need help. We’ve tried figuring it out on our own, but we’ve realized that we are unable to come up with the amount needed. Even if it’s $5, $1, it does not matter. Every bit counts. He have planned to hold his funeral on Thursday, January 11. We have to pay the full amount 24 hours before the event. We are praying for a miracle and know that God will be faithful. My dad helped so many people, prayed for so many people, and shared the gospel with so many people. He was a fighter and persevered through so much. God will be faithful in this. Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you in advance. If you are unable to give monetarily, the most precious thing we can ask for us prayer. Prayer to get through this difficult time and for comfort. Thank you.
