Officer Russ Dardeno

HELP an Injured Officer!! Please say a prayer for a great Veteran & good friend, Russ Dardeno. He was injured in the line of duty early Tuesday morning.   After 24yrs in the Army, he is now with Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Tuesday morning several patrol cars were pursuing a possible DUI suspect when Officer Dardeno got out of his car to put down stop sticks in the road. The suspect lost control of the car and Officer Dardeno was physically hit by the vehicle.  The accident left him with a broken back pressing on his spine and bruised ribs. After a long night of surgeries... he is very lucky to be alive.  Officer Dardeno is expected to be out of work for some time. It’s going to be a very long road ahead for him, his family through the recovery process.
