Feed The World Save The World is a non-profit organization that wants to uplift humanity to a better lifestyle by providing food and shelter to those in need and making a proper education available and accessible in the most remote areas

In Madinatou Salam, we have been working on a school project. When we visited the local community, we had a chance to make contact with the local leaders and decision-makers. The need for clean water is also a crucial problem in Madinatou Salam.

We are asking for your generous donations to build an electric water well with a significant capacity of water that can help thousands of Senegalese. With your donations, making clean water available will not be a luxury anymore for them. The water well that we want to build will be in a central location (We are working with the donors at this stage) that is a minimum of 230 feet deep. It will be the biggest and deepest water well in Madinatou Salam and will provide water to thousands of Senegalese.

Clean water is necessary for life. Unfortunately, Madinatou Salam’s lack of access to clean water means our friends and families in Madinatou Salam are suffering greatly from poor health and poverty. Therefore, it may seem more cost-effective to cease digging once you reach the water table in the short term. However, shallow wells are susceptible to surface contamination contributing to diseases such as E. coli, salmonella typhi, Schistosoma, cholera, and hepatitis A. This is especially true with wells on the African continent.
