Charles Beke Treatment Fund

Hi,
my name is Crystal Retzlaff. I am fundraising to help send my father to
a treatment facility called The Kushi Institute in Becket, MA, USA. I
just got married on October 5th 2013, my dad was here visiting and he
walked me down the aisle. He gave me away. Little did I know that one
week later our lives would be forever changed. My father was not feeling
well and he had gone to the washroom and noticed that there was blood
in the toilet. He asked my brother to take him to the hospital where the
did a CT Scan and blood work. Blood work was perfect. However the CT
Scan showed a blockage and the Doctor here in Calgary told my parents
and my siblings that my father had stage four cancer and gave him two -
six months to live. We flew my parents' home to Rodney, Ontario to go
and see our family doctor back home. Again all of my father's tests came
back perfect. They did a colonoscopy and found that he did have cancer.
The doctors were sure that they could
remove the cancer. The next day when they went in the operation room and
they put a scope into my father they noticed that my father has cancer
in his liver, his abdominal wall and his colon. The doctors removed the
scope and when my father awoke, they explained that the cancer was in
all of these organs. My parents and we siblings took this very hard. We
have been doing research and looking at all alternative measures, etc. I
was given the name of this institute from a new friend who had cancer
and was told the he was to die within a year. That was seven years ago.
He went to the Kushi Institute and changed his lifestyle, his diet and
he is now cancer free. The doctors in Ontario have extended our fathers
time line. They stated that my father has anywhere for six months to
eight-teen months or longer depending on the choices that he makes. My
brother, sister and I would like to send my father to this place so he
too can have a chance to live longer to meet his grandchildren.
Over the years, both of my parents have been amazing role models. I grew up in a house where we shared: WHY: While my parent's foster children that could not live with their parents. They took in many children over the years of growing up and I didn`t care that I had to share because as my dad told me when I was little that sharing made me special and that by sharing with these children that came into our house they didn`t have as much LOVE as we did and we as a family needed to give them love too: I am so blessed to have the parents that I have and to have all the foster and adoptive siblings I have as well as my biological brother!
Please HELP us send our father to The Kushi Institute
Sincerely,
