4x4x24 for COVID-19

Donation protected

Many of us are at home wondering what we can do during this quarantine. A group of college friends were talking and heard about the 4x4x48 challenge. In 48 hours, you do 4 miles of running, biking, etc. (roughly 30-60 min of strenuous exercise) every 4 hours. Keep in mind everyones’ personal goal is different - the idea is for participants to get out and exercise, truly challenge themselves, every 4 hours throughout the day.

As a group, we decided to use this challenge to raise money for those facing and actively combating COVID-19. We adjusted the challenge to 4x4x24 in hopes to increase the number of participants. Currently there are 15 participants (and counting) that will be completing the challenge from 04/17-04/18.

We want to show that even in a time where you may feel discouraged and helpless , there is always something you can do to help others.

The participants want to give back to their respective communities. Thus, all proceeds will be divided evenly between: 4CT (Connecticut COVID-19 Charity Relief,) Greater Boston Food Bank, and the NYC COVID-19 Response & Impact Fund. The participants have agreed that if we reach $20,000 in donations, we will do the full 48 hour challenge: our pain is the communities’ gain!
