Keith's Medical Fund

For the last few months, my oldest son, Keith, has been battling severe health issues.  After numerous Dr visits and tests, his Doctor’s believe he has an aggressive form of Multiple Sclerosis as well as signs of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer's disease.  His current Neurologist suggests he go to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for further testing.  This trip will cost upwards of $10-15,000.  In addition to the medical issues, he has been off work since June on short term medical leave.  His salary has been reduced and his short-term disability will be coming to an end soon. 

Multiple Sclerosis symptoms are difficult to verify and diagnose according to Drs.  Some of his symptoms include dizziness, chronic pain in his spine, arms and legs, reduced eyesight, tremors, muscular cramping, problems with coordination, difficulty walking, not able to drive due to symptoms, slurred speech and impaired voice.  He is also having trouble thinking and understanding, as well as sleep deprivation.

HOW YOU CAN HELP: Due to reduced income, current and upcoming medical bills, his young family has been stretched financially. We are asking family and friends to help his family in this difficult time of his life.  We would like to raise a minimum of $15,000 now as he prepares to go to the Mayo clinic mid November.  They will be staying 10 days & have been asked to come back two weeks later for results.  Additional financial requirements may be necessary in the future.
