Destination M. D. Anderson

This is a story of perseverance and determination. My name is Sonny Gloyd and I have been fighting Hodgkins Lymphoma since I was 15. Since 1985 I have had 4 occurrences. I am 48 and the most recent occurrence was in July 2017. My current oncologist is hesitant to continue treatments due to numerous complications from past treatments. I have multiple lymph nodes that did not shrink as the oncologist had predicted. I am not content to sit and wait. I want to be proactive for my life and my family. I believe my best option is to seek consultation at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. I enjoy life with my wife and daughter. I want to see my daughter graduate from high school and maybe one day, see my grandchildren. My life and my family are the reason I am choosing to fight. Any help in getting me to MD Anderson will be greatly appreciated by me, my wife and daughter
