Saving Moms House

I'm raising money to help my mom save her house. The past year has been very hard for her and my family. On October 11, 2013 my father passed away during a surgery to place an LVAD. Leading up to his surgery he was very ill, suffering from congestive heart failure and renal failure. Most of the summer my dad was in intensive care with no health insurance. My mom did what she could, but she had to almost completely stop working to take care of my dad. Since my dad's condition stemmed from a cancer treatment in the 1980s he could not get ANY life insurance because his health problems were considered pre-existing. I was fortunate enough to get to spend the last week of my father's life with him at the hospital and I watched him make calls from his hospital bed, desperately trying to get things set for my mom. Unfortunately, no one could/would help him.
Now, I'm trying. My mom is desperately wanting to save her house, it's where she and my dad invisioned growing old together. She is going back to work as soon as possible, but she needs a little relief from bills until she gets back on her feet.
My first goal is to pay for at least six months of her mortgage, if I get that (YAY!) I will come up with a new goal to shoot for.
