Marvelous things are happening in my life! Over the last several months, I have had the incredible opportunity to participate in four showcases for RAW. RAW: Natural Born Artists is an independent and internationally known arts organization, for artists, by artists, spotlighting all genres of art including independent film, fashion, music, visual art, performing art, hairstylists, makeup artists and more. RAW events come together to form an amazing one-night circus of creativity. I have displayed my artwork of hair in the cities of Washington DC, Baltimore and two shows in Miami.
These showcases occur once a month in nearly 70 cities located across the United States, Australia, Canada and, now London! RAW's mission is to provide independent artists with the tools, resources and exposure needed to inspire and cultivate creativity. For more information on this organization, go to www.rawartists.org.
I am so thrilled to share with you the tremendous opportunity that RAW has offered me. They would like me to showcase my art internationally. In March 2014, I will be kicking off my international showcases starting in Australia!
As you can imagine, the cost of such a trip is quite high. In effort to pursue my dreams as an
International stylist, I am going to need assistance. I am contacting you at this time to petition for your help in making my dreams come true, as at this time I cannot do this alone. It is my goal to raise $6,000.00 to cover the expenses. Yes, this is a lot of money, but any amount you could contribute would be greatly appreciated!
I will be accepting payments for now through December 15, 2013 via check, my Paypal account or here at GoFundme.com. Checks can be written out to me. Payments made via my Paypal account.
