Our Engine broke down. We need your help!!
Heart Of The Storm is a unique sailing adventure program for kids, teens and communities. By taking kids out on 1, 3, and 9 day expeditions we bridge the gap between those who have plenty and those who do not. Between kids who live on the sea and have never set foot in a boat, and those who have axcess to everything.
Christina and Nielsen began Heart Of The Storm (HOTS) in Maine and have successfully helped many teens to realize their fullest potential, have fun, and explore their coastal environments through sailing, first aid, scuba-diving, island hikes, music, and drawing.
"Our goal this winter is to take the HOTS program to the Bahamas and give back to the the children of the island communities where we love to be."
"We left Maine in September on Aliento our 42' solid teak program boat. We decided to sail the east coast with our own children to have them experience life on a boat, raw and unplugged."
"It isn't enough to give this to our children alone. We want to help ALL children! To live their dream, have enthuiasm, passion, and compassion for themselves and the planet. We want them to feel like they are connected, and that they are not alone in this big world."

OUR ENGINE BROKE DOWN!!!!
Christina, Nielsen, and the HOTS program need your help to fix the engine. It will cost $10,000. Way beyond their shoe string budget. Please help by donating what ever you can afford. You will be helping them see their vision of sailing south be realized. You will be helping countless children and teens from all walks of life to receive the beauty and light that a trip on a sail boat can bring.
Remember if you touch one person in your life time, just one, you will end up touching 1000. Love, and generosity ripple out into the world and never end.
