Tragically and suddenly, we lost our Barbie, aka Babs. During the early morning hours on Saturday, December 16, Barbara McShane passed away in her sleep from natural causes.
Erica, Michael, and Jim are grief stricken from their tremendous loss. Barb touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her bright smile, kind heart, and infectious laugh.
To honor Barb's memory, we are hosting a memorial service at the American Legion in Newport Beach. Barb LOVED the beach and spent many, many, many, happy times growing up and hanging out there, taking her own kids there, and making memories to last forever.
Barb loved a good time and was always up for a celebration.
On Saturday, we will honor her, sharing stories, laughter, and tears as we rally around to support Erica, Michael and Jim and the rest of the family.
This unexpected loss during the holiday season is especially difficult, for so many reasons. The costs for her memorial are considerable, and times are tight. We are reaching out to our friends and family to help raise the money to celebrate Babs and her life as it should be done: with fond memories, joy, and the people who loved her gathered together.
