Windhaven Fire in Palatine

Hi, my name is Rosario I'm the daughter of Bernardo and Prima Pacheco. On March 19, 2023 a massive fire destroyed their home in Windhaven located in Palatine. Unfortunately they lost all their belongings; not only did they loose their belongings, but they also lost 30+ years of memories. They built a whole life there since 1995. I myself spent most of my life there and it deeply saddens me seeing what was once my home destroyed. What saddens me even more is looking at my parents faces with complete devastation and woriness. Not only did this fire affect my family, but many other families as well. If you can help my parents with a small donation or any of the other families it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hola mi nombre es Rosario soy hija de Bernardo y Prima Pacheco. El 19 de marzo del 2023, un incendio masivo destruyó su casa en Windhaven ubicada en Palatine. Lamentablemente perdieron todas sus pertenencias; no solo perdieron sus pertenencias, sino que también perdieron más de 30 años de recuerdos. Construyeron toda una vida allí desde 1995. Yo misma pasé la mayor parte de mi vida allí y me entristece profundamente ver destruido lo que alguna vez fue mi hogar. Lo que me entristece aún más es mirar a los rostros de mis padres con total devastación y preocupación. Este incendio no solo afectó a mi familia, sino también a muchas otras familias.
