Our friend James McDaniel was arrested in Iquitos, Peru, several days ago in a police raid on his hotel room. He is currently being held in police custody and accused of possession of 4 kilos of marijuana, which is a serious offence in Peru and he could face up to 8 years in jail. However, we need to raise 15,000 soles (about $5000 USD) to pay the lawyer’s fees.Unfortunately his family is not able to provide financial support at this at this time.
