Matthew Patz Burn Fund
Donation protected
Matthew Patz is a 1995 graduate from The Citadel and is a CPA in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. On August 10, 2013, Matthew was about to pull his boat off the trailer when the boat exploded after starting the ignition. Luckily, Matthew survived the explosion but received third degree burns on both legs, from his knees to his ankles. Matthew was life flighted to UNC Chapel Hill Burn Center to receive treatment for his injuries. Matthew spent the next month receiving treatment and undergoing a skin graft surgery to help his legs heal. Matthew is doing well, and is able to walk now.
A group of us, his classmates from The Citadel, are asking for any donations that will help in the effort to pay the enormous medical bills that Matthew has incurred. Being self-employed as a CPA, his mediacl bills are in excess of what is coverd by the insurance. We thank you in advance for your support and generous donation.
