My youngest brother who had just turned 21 in April, was recently diagnosed with Acute Leukemia. This kind of cancer affects his bone marrow and blood. This came very unexpected and sudden, and we are trying to help. He is currently being treated at Sutter Cancer Center in Sacramento. John has his whole future ahead of him, and a long battle to fight. Part of John's journey and chemo treatments will last at the minimum of a year if everything goes as planned. This means the family will be staying in Sacramento and traveling back and forth. Once john has a stem cell transplant, John and some of the family will have to stay in Sacramento for 3 months straight to make sure the transplant is successful. To ease the financial burden, we have created a go fund me account to help with any copays, traveling, lodging, and future medical expenses. It would mean everything to my family and John. Before this happen, he was working full time and getting back into school. He's a good kid and a hard worker. We all want him to beat this fight. Anything will help even if it’s just sharing this page. We appreciate everything and everyone. Thank you all so much!
