Lorelei's Fund

Lorelei is an amazing eight year old little girl with difficult to treat epilepsy. She has a very rare genetic mutation. Only six other females in the world have ever been found to have it. Because of this she suffers hundreds of seizures every day. It has also caused autism, sensory processing delays, intellectual disability and some mild structural abnormalities in her legs and feet. You can only imagine how this impacts Lorelei's life. As her mother, I see it every day.

Lorelei is such an amazing little girl. She shows so much strength in the face of what most would consider unimaginable. Lorelei is a true hero to our family. It breaks my heart to see what she has to go through every single day BUT I can honestly say that I am in awe of how courageous my little girl is.

The goal of this fundraiser is to help her to have access to services that aren't covered by insurance and would not be possible otherwise. We would also like to build a sensory playroom in our home so that Lorelei will have a place to go for in home sensory play to build her developmental, motor, sensory skills, etc. It will also serve as a place for Lorelei to retreat to when the world is too overwhelming for her to handle.

In addition, Lorelei's care can be very expensive. There are things that just aren't covered by medical insurance. Please help in any way you can. Literally every dollar helps. Please share this page with all you know, help spread the word and give Lorelei a chance at a better life.
