Robert is a very loving man with a huge heart that has touched the hearts of friends, family and anyone who might need a little lift. He has helped so many people in the 20 years I have been blessed to know him. He has sacrificed so much in his lifetime to help others that just need a place to stay, and to those that need a helping hand. His front door is always open to those in need. Robert is a family man and to him family has always come first in every aspect of his life. He loves the holiday season and has always made sure that anyone he knows didn't have to spend it alone. Christmas is his favorite holiday. Robert enjoys participating in Toy Runs for Children every Christmas. Robert is a very hard working, extremely talented carpenter. He is very passionate about his skill and has built some amazing structures and completed many projects in the greater Denver area and all surrounding cities. Robert loves to ski and snowboard. He is really talented with both disciplines and has the amazing patience that allows him to teach others with ease. He enjoys the outdoors and nature to the fullest. Robert is an expert camper. He always ensured that all of his camping crew had everything they need set up quickly and correctly. He wouldn't take a seat until all tasks were complete. Making sure that everyone there's comfortable and relaxed. Robert is a very passionate motorcycle enthusiast. He has owned many different types of motorcycles. Harley Davidson is by far his favorite. He has this saying "Live To Ride, Ride To Live" The clear blue skies, the rumble of man and machine, the wind, and the open road all lead to absolute freedom. It's what he loves to do. Ride free. On November 24, the day after Thanksgiving everything changed. Robert was involved in a very severe motorcycle accident. He suffered multiple injuries as a result. He was rushed to the Medical Center of the Rockies where they immediately performed a 7 hour procedure to reduce the swelling on his damaged neck, back and spine. They were able to straighten his spine out! He had 3 breaks in his back. He has a lot of new hardware. His rehabilitation is going to take months to years. He is on life support to help him breathe. His secondary muscles are not helping his lungs draw air in and out. He has very limited mobility in his right arm and hand, and even less with his left arm. He has no feeling and movement below his chest currently. Robert will need the help of all his family, friends and everyone that can to make it through his recovery. Please I'm asking for friends, family to donate what you can to him. He deserves every bit of love he can get, as he has given more than most people have in a lifetime.
