Help Luis and Family

Hello,My name is Gabriel Canales, the son of Luis Canales. On Sunday, November 19th, my dad suffered a Massive Stroke to the cerebellum after being hospitalized due to high blood pressure, dizziness, and pain/numbness in his left arm. He was never the same after that. The next day my dad had Decompressive Craniectomy Surgery which is surgery to cut out part of the skull to relieve inflammation of the brain. He was in a medically induced Coma for a day. When he woke up he was able to recognize who we were and answer basic questions. Unfortunately, that progress took a step back today and he could not remember where he was and developed an infection due to surgery. We also learned that due to him not having insurance, they will not give him the help he needs to relearn how to walk and do the basic things he used to do. Also, he will not get help for Disability for at least three months. Luis’s main focus was to take care of his family and to do that he worked TWO jobs. We also don’t know if my mom will be able to keep working because he’ll need full time care. The money we get will be used for Luis’s Bills, to help my Mom, and for Therapy. Please help my Dad and Mom get through this.
