As many people probably know our beautiful baby girl has battled so many obstacles in her short period of life. We have been home for only 4 short months after our first long 5 month stay in the NICU at SickKids Toronto. Even these last four months have been filled with short stays in hospitals. Last night Ava spiked a fever and it was unresolved with Tylenol and Advil at home. We arrive at Markdale hospital and she deteriorated rapidly. We were rushed by ambulance to the emerge at SickKids where Ava's heart rate reached 280 and she was unresponsive. Those 2 hours in the ambulance Ava was fighting for her life, and I was fighting to keep her with us.. After hours of struggling to breathe she has been put on a breathing tube. They believe she is battling a serious infection. I am hoping to keep our family together with the money we raise on here as it's close to Christmas. I appreciate everyone's prayers, donations and well wishes. Let's keep Ava's army strong, this little girl needs everyone in her corner
