Letty Dominguez

Friends and family; as we all know, our beloved Letty Dominguez has been dealing with some major health issues that have put Big Ralph and their kids' lives on hold. In July, Mama Letty had her first stroke, which started a chain of events leading to today. After many tests, it was determined that the cause of the stroke was a large tumor growing in her brain. The tumor invaded a portion of her brain which caused difficulty with vision, trouble articulating, and weakness in the right side of her body. Surgery to get rid of the growth was scheduled for 11/17/17, but Letty unfortunately suffered another stroke only three days before the scheduled procedure. Four months, three ambulance rides, two helicopter airlifts, and one 8 hour brain surgery since the first stroke, Letty now begins her journey to recovery. The tumor was the size of a man's fist and caused significant damage before doctors were able to work their magic. She has a long road ahead with a still undetermined hospital stay and countless hours of therapy to help her regain her ability to walk, speak, and use the right side of her body.  Ralph and Letty have never asked for anything, but I've seen them give so much over the years to everyone around them. Speaking about myself personally, they welcomed my family into their home from the beginning and made us feel as if we were Dominguez'. I know that at some point, they have made all of you feel that same way. There is a special kind of love when it comes to the Dominguez family. I want to help make this recovery for Ralph and Letty just a little easier. I know that Big Ralph is too prideful to ever ask for anyone's financial help. In my visit to the hospital, Big Ralph was still trying to buy food and drinks for everyone despite all that he is going through. Beyond the medical bills and lost time at work, other things such as lodging, food, and transportation are going to quickly build up. Please help give them a little financial relief so that they can put their focus on Letty's recovery. I would like to surprise the both of them with one big check at the end of this, so please don't tell Big Ralph until the end. Let's make Ralph and Letty feel the love that they have shown all of us since day one! -Josh Lee
