Gracelynn's Groupies

This is our lil Gracelynn. She was born with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. She was also born 5 weeks early. She was immediately transported from OSU Medical Center to Nationwide Children's Hospital where she received 2 surgeries when she was just 2 days old. One surgery closed the malformation in her back and one was to place a shunt in her brain to drain the excess fluid. She pulled through like a little trooper. She is now 9 mos. old. She has physical and occupational therapy 4 times a week. She struggles now and will continue with the movements and development milestones that we take for granted. She is a fighter she just recently had a cranial vault reconstruction in which the neurosurgeon and plastic surgeon worked together to reshape her skull to allow for proper growth and brain developement. Amazingly and as always she cobtinues to smile through it all :)Please help us provide the best opportunities for her!
