The initial shock was my super baby has cancer. The next blow was we are currently uninsured. With Steve’s escalating medical bills(he’s been battling his cancer last 4 years) and fortunate good health of rest of us AND, the messed up insurance system in this country, especially for individual plan holders like us, we decided to have only Steve’s coverage. We are not qualified for Medicaid, our government said. We are applying for Obamacare, but that doesn’t start coverage till January. UTSW, where Steve's been going to, is NOT accepting individual plans any more starting January. It’s beyond bizarre. Any help will be appreciated- any information on health insurance will be invaluable. Thank you.
