Guys, as you know Leah (29) suffers type 1 diabetes which has resulted in her now suffering from other medical conditions such as kidney disease, gasteopherisis and has contributed to her losing her sight all within the last 3 years. With her being a single parent, she spends most of her time within the HDU ward (as frequently as every 2months for most the same period of time) in Wishaw General where Mille is unable to visit and has to stay with relatives andfriends each time her Mum takes ill, they (the NHS) say she is not a priority to have a Gastric Pace Maker fitted. This simple operation can mean the difference between her and her daughter having quality time together and ultimately improve her quality of life all together. This Op costs in the region of £21,340 if done privately and that is our aim. HELP LEAH AND MILLIE HAVE A LIFE WE ALL TAKE FOR GRANTED. We are in the process of setting up a number of fundraising events to reach our target total but any additional donations would be greatly appreciated.
