Wedding nightmare/ medical bills

Since Cancun is known for its beautiful beaches and tropical climate, my brother thought it would be a wonderful place to get married. What should have been the happiest day turned into a nightmare. My mother fell down a flight of steps the day before the wedding and severely injured her neck. She was initially turned away from the hospital because of inability to pay for a CT scan (the hospital did not take American insurance.) Once I sent down my credit card information she was found to have a severe injury in her neck which required immediate surgery. Again, the cost of surgery had to be paid up front. After surgery my mother was air-ambulanced to a hospital in NJ where she works as a nurse. My mother has a long road ahead of her as far as rehab and only time will tell if she'll be able to walk again. She currently has full use of her left arm and some of her right.

My grandparents paid for most of the bills on their credit cards. We plan on using the $36,000 to pay for the medical expenses that were put on credit cards. We also paid $29,000 for the air ambulance home, but some of the cost may be reimbursed by my mother's insurance.

My mother is a fighter and a hard worker and even if she never walks again, I know she will find a job that she'll love as much as the one she had before the injury.

My brother has postponed his reception and my dream is that at the reception she'll be making a fool of herself on the dance floor without a care in the world. Please help make this happen.
