On Thursday, November 9th, 2017 Weylin Rice passed away in his home.
He was one of the most pure hearted, beautiful, and genuinely caring people I have ever met in my life.
So many people loved and cared for him so deeply. Weylin was very near the best friend I've ever had. Whatever you could possibly need, whether it be a shoulder to cry on or just someone to hang out with at 2:30 in the morning because you both couldn't sleep, Weylin was there in heartbeat.
No matter WHAT you needed, Weylin had your back.
I truly never thought I'd ever be making a GoFundMe campaign for my best friend's funeral. While his parents are not only grieving, they are also struggling with the amount of expenses that come with territory of losing and laying to rest a loved one (let alone one's child).
He was very near and dear to so many of you all as well, and the outpouring of love for him in the last few days has brought his family, and friends SO much hope for the days and weeks ahead, as we continue to mourn and grieve for such a beautiful human being who left us far too soon.
Weylin radiated love and support for those around him and this love, I believe, resonates deeply within everyone who him. I think it's time that we aim to give that same love and support that he constantly showed so many of us back to he and his family.
Let's give Weylin the funeral service that he so very much deserves and help make this grueling process a little more bearable for Jay and Rohanna.
