Bob Beats Cancer
Donation protected
Bob has been through a lot in recent years. Liver cancer led to a liver transplant, and the subsequent medications paved the way for bladder cancer. He has been through so much. Six surgeries on his bladder over the years ultimately led to the cancer spreading to his prostate and he is slated for a bladder and prostate removal. He will begin an intense 3 month chemotherapy regimen starting soon, each with its own copay. My parents recently moved to Arizona to be closer to me, and the cancer hospital is roughly 1 hour from their house. With anywhere between 2 - 4 appointments per week, copays and travel is starting to incur a lot of personal cost for them and my mom, Kathy, has been unable to work because of it. Modern medicine is really a miracle, but we know of a lot of alternative treatments that just aren’t covered by insurance, and there are so many things that we want to try. With all of that being said, please consider contributing what you can to help take some of the pressure off during these already difficult times.
